Brothers and Sisters,
As we’re sure you are aware, our General Chairman, Dave Decker, has decided to resign from that office effective January 1. We, the officers of the GCA, would like to take this time to thank Dave for his leadership over the years, and for all of the great work he has done for all engineers. With his resignation, the Vice General Chairman, Jim Brown, will become General Chairman. Jim has been the Local Chairman of Division 373 for 9 years and has served as Vice General Chairman since 2012. During this time Jim has served as both an effective leader and a strong advocate for all engineers. We look forward to continuing the tradition of teamwork and cooperation that has been a hallmark of our GCA in recent years. Jim has our total support as he takes on his new role, and we appreciate your support as we make the transition and continue the work that Dave and now Jim lead us in.
