Dear Brothers and Sisters,
It has come to my attention that NJT is cancelling single vacation and personal days for tomorrow and Thursday. I was not aware of this decision until 830pm. I have contacted Mr. Sincaglia and voiced the GCA’s displeasure not only with his decision but the fact that the union was not notified. The carrier is well within their rights to cancel vacation and personal days. They however are not allowed to cancel FMLA or sick days. I have attached a copy of the National vacation agreement which we abide by.
