Dear Brothers and sisters
There has been talk circulating around the property that NJT has contacted Amtrak and Metro North requesting assistance by supplying engineers to operate our trains. I have confirmed this to be true. I have contacted our National office in Cleveland and I am awaiting a determination on whether this is considered to be a major contract violation. If it is a major violation severe action can be taken. If anyone sees an engineer from another carrier operating NJT equipment. Contact a division officer immediately. I will keep you up to date on any information I receive. STAND STRONG!!
